Get Up and Go Meal Ideas - Saturday

Breakfast

Morning Snack

  • 2 tbsp mixed nuts
  • 1 cup your choice of fruit

Lunch

  • 1/2 cup vegetable juice
  • Chicken and pesto pasta salad made with 1 cup three-color fusilli pasta, 1/2 cup your choice of mixed vegetables (celery, bell pepper, onion, cauliflower, etc.) and, 3 oz cooked chicken and 1 tbsp pesto
  • 1/2 cup fresh pineapple

Afternoon Snack

Dinner

  • 4 oz Florentine fillet of sole cooked in aluminum foil with spinach, onions, grated carrots and cheese (<20% M.F.)
  • 1 oven-baked potato
  • 1 cup garden salad with fresh vegetables and 1 tbsp oil and vinegar dressing
  • 1/2 cup berries
  • 1 cup water, tea or coffee
