Get Up and Go Meal Ideas - Sunday
Breakfast
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 breakfast bagel made from 1 Country Harvest Whole Wheat bagel, 1 egg, tomato, lettuce, 1 oz cheese (<20% M.F.) and 1 tsp calorie-reduced mayonnaise
- 1 cup water, tea or coffee
Morning Snack
- 1 small low-fat raspberry bran muffin
- 1 cup skim or 1% M.F. milk
Lunch
- 1 cup vegetable soup
- 1/2 cup tabbouleh salad (bulgur wheat, lemon juice, parsley, mint, garlic and tomatoes)
- 1 slice Country Harvest Sunflower Flax bread, toasted, with 1 tbsp hummus
- 1 apple
Afternoon Snack
- 1 yogourt smoothie made with 3/4 cup plain yogourt, 1/2 cup frozen fruit and 1/4 cup orange juice
Dinner
- 1 cup cooked whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce made from 1 cup choice of vegetables and 3 oz ground turkey, sprinkled with 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup seasonal fruit salad
- 1 cup water, tea or coffee
