Heart Pleasing Meal Ideas - Sunday

Breakfast

Morning Snack

  • 2 Brazil nuts and 1 pear

Lunch

  • 1 cup vegetable cocktail
  • 1 whole grain pita stuffed with seafood salad: 3 ounces (90 g) finely chopped crab Pollack, 2 tsp light mayonnaise and finely chopped green onion. Garnish with lettuce
  • 2 kiwis

Afternoon Snack

Dinner

  • 1 cup lentil soup
  • Beef Stir Fry: 3½ ounces (100 g) beef sliced into thin strips, ½ yellow pepper, ½ red pepper and ½ cup snow peas sautéed in sesame seed oil and flavoured with fresh ginger and soy sauce
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) frozen yogurt
  • Water, tea or coffee

Evening Snack

  • 2 small squares dark chocolate (+ 70% cacao) and 1 cup (250 ml) milk
