Heart Pleasing Meal Ideas - Sunday
Breakfast
- 2 slices Country Harvest 100% Whole Wheat bread, toasted
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 3/4 cup natural yogurt topped with 1/2 cup blueberries and 1 tbsp hemp seeds.
- Water, tea or coffee
Morning Snack
- 2 Brazil nuts and 1 pear
Lunch
- 1 cup vegetable cocktail
- 1 whole grain pita stuffed with seafood salad: 3 ounces (90 g) finely chopped crab Pollack, 2 tsp light mayonnaise and finely chopped green onion. Garnish with lettuce
- 2 kiwis
Afternoon Snack
- 1/2 Country Harvest Twelve Grain bagel, toasted and spread with 1 tbsp light cream cheese
Dinner
- 1 cup lentil soup
- Beef Stir Fry: 3½ ounces (100 g) beef sliced into thin strips, ½ yellow pepper, ½ red pepper and ½ cup snow peas sautéed in sesame seed oil and flavoured with fresh ginger and soy sauce
- 1 cup brown rice
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) frozen yogurt
- Water, tea or coffee
Evening Snack
- 2 small squares dark chocolate (+ 70% cacao) and 1 cup (250 ml) milk
