Heart Pleasing Meal Ideas - Tuesday

Breakfast

Morning Snack

  • 1/2 cup fresh grapes
  • 1/2 cup low-fat yogurt

Lunch

Afternoon Snack

  • 1/2 cup grapefruit juice
  • 1 tbsp roasted soybean seeds

Dinner

  • 1 Orange Cod Fillet: poach fish in a mix of ½ cup water, 1/3 cup orange juice and 1/3 cup white wine until flesh becomes opaque. Remove fish, simmer cooking juices a few minutes, then thicken with a mix of cornstarch and 3 tbsp milk. Serve fish topped with a little sauce and seasoned with pepper and fine herbs.
  • 1 cup brown rice with vegetables
  • 1/2 cup steamed green beans
  • 1 fresh fruit kebab sprinkled with cinnamon

Evening Snack

  • 1 rice cake
  • 2 dried apricots
