Nutrition Made Easy Meal Ideas - Monday

Breakfast

  • grapefruit 1/2
  • 1 low-fat, medium-sized cranberry bran muffin
  • 50 g of cheese (<20% M.F.)
  • 1 cup of coffee or tea

Morning Snack

  • 1 small apple

Lunch

  • 1/2 cup vegetable juice
  • 2 slices Country Harvest Sunflower Flax bread with 50 g tuna and 1 tsp calorie-reduced mayonnaise
  • 1 cup salad and fresh vegetables and 1 tbsp light vinaigrette
  • 1/4 cantaloupe
  • 1 cup skim or 1% milk

Afternoon Snack

  • 2 small oatmeal raisin cookies
  • 1 cup of skim or 1% milk

Dinner

  • 4 oz sirloin steak marinated in mustard
  • 1 slice of Country Harvest Whole Wheat bread
  • 1/2 cup of steamed broccoli
  • 1 grilled tomato seasoned with herbs
  • 1/2 cup of lemon sorbet garnished with 1/2 cup seasonal fruit
  • 1 cup of water, coffee or tea
