Nutrition Made Easy Meal Ideas - Tuesday

Breakfast

  • 1/4 of a cantaloupe
  • 1/2 cup of oatmeal with 1/2 cup of 1% milk
  • 1 slice of toasted Country Harvest Flax bread with 1 tbsp of peanut butter
  • 1 cup of coffee or tea

Morning Snack

  • 3/4 of a cup of yogourt (<2% M.F.)

Lunch

  • 1 cup of minestrone soup
  • 2 slices of Country Harvest Stone Milled 100% Whole Wheat bread garnished with 2 ounces of lean ham, sundried tomatoes, alfalfa sprouts, lettuce and mustard
  • 1/2 cup of carrot sticks
  • 1/2 cup of pear sauce without sugar
  • 1 cup of skim or 1% milk

Afternoon Snack

  • 1 tbsp of mixed nuts

Dinner

  • 4 oz chicken breast with herbs
  • 1 cup of (cooked) brown rice
  • 1 cup steamed cauliflower
  • 2 cups spinach salad with 1 tbsp of vinaigrette
  • 1 cup of water, coffee or tea
