LOVE IT: Chocolate Hazelnut Torta

Ingredients

  • 1 Country Harvest® Greek Style Pita
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp (22mL) chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1/2 small ripe banana, sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) fresh raspberries
  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) hazelnuts, toasted and chopped
  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) toasted shaved coconut
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) liquid honey

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

On a small parchment paper lined baking sheet, place the pita on one side and the hazelnuts on the other. Toast for 7 minutes. Toast the coconut shavings for 4 minutes on a separate baking sheet. Roughly chop the hazelnuts. Spread the chocolate hazelnut spread to the edges of the warm pita. Top with the banana slices and fresh raspberries. Scatter with the hazelnuts and coconut and drizzle the whole pita with honey. Cut into 6 slices and serve while still warm.
